CAC’s Ken Carrusca will be joining a panel on C&D Recycling opportunities & challenges. Concrete is the world’s most used building material and as the population of our region grows there will be an even greater need for housing and infrastructure. Recognizing that cement manufacturing  is an energy intensive process, the cement and concrete industry are developing a Net-Zero Carbon Concrete Action Plan. Supporting the circular economy and the use of selected, waste-based fuels will play a part in the transition to a lower carbon economy.
