About us

Our mission, vision and values

We’re committed to helping the cement and concrete industry tackle the challenges of our day to meet our goals for the future.

Our mission is to create optimal conditions for our industry to lead and thrive in a clean economy.

Our vision is building resilient and sustainable communities with net-zero concrete.

Our values:
Leadership, transparency, and collaboration.

Our members

Our six member companies operate 14 cement plants in five provinces. Vertically integrated, they own and operate aggregate and concrete businesses.

As key partners in the built-environment ecosystem, our members, and their international parent companies work to deliver the best solutions for sustainable construction today and tomorrow. As manufacturers, they’re also committed to greener manufacturing of cement and concrete products. Each are charting corporate roadmaps with verified science-based targets to net-zero by 2050, with interim targets for 2030 and 2040 and a progress review in 2025. Other environmental considerations, including the protection and enhancement of biodiversity, water conservation, and air quality are also priorities. Our member companies protect the health and safety of their employees, customers, and host communities and create a better quality of life across Canada.

Their commitment to diversity and inclusion happens through community investments, workplace practices and working constructively with Indigenous communities to build mutually beneficial relationships.
