The Cement Association of Canada has signed a joint letter alongside the Canadian Hydrogen Association and others supporting the Government of Canada’s Suite of Clean Economy Investment Tax Credits.
Canada’s Clean Economy Investment Tax Credits are among the country’s most important tools for attracting investment, strengthening industrial competitiveness, diversifying exports, and building resilient domestic supply chains.
The letter calls on the Government of Canada to:
- Provide long-term investment certainty
- Maintain a technology- and pathway-neutral approach and broaden eligibility
- Improve commercial viability and reduce administrative barriers
- Strengthen Canada’s innovation, commercialization, manufacturing, and export ecosystem
Together, we can ensure Canada’s Clean Economy ITCs deliver on their full economic and strategic potential.
