Rob Cooney will be presenting on The Industrial Revolution of Embodied Carbon on Feb 13 at 12:15pm at the Canadian Concrete Expo in Toronto.

The Cement Association of Canada will provide an educational session on the fundamentals of embodied carbon in cement, concrete, masonry, and precast concrete. Attendees will learn about industry plans for achieving net-zero emissions, availability of EPDs, and the definition of low-carbon concrete. The session will outline the importance of implementing performance specifications for cement and concrete, and strategies for carbon budgeting on projects to ensure that GHG reductions are prioritized and achieved.
